Biography

Born in Nykvarn, Sweden, Swedish Singer and actress  Therese Wernersson started here singing career in the church-choir as a six year old.

Passion for performance and singing came early, but it was at age 18 she  took her first singing lessons for Berith Sehlin. The hight and strength of the voice was soon discovered and Therese fell in love with  songs  from the music theatrical stage. The wide range of notes - and emotions -  impressed her and when she soon moved to the city of Sundsvall she decided to join the Kvartersteater, a theatrical company that produces musical theatre with  newly composed music.

This would be the starting point of here career in musical theatre, and she decided to  get her education in music, theatre and production.

Since then she has been seen in several musical theatre shows, and is a freelance singer since ten years, performing both as a soloartist and as a

member of bigger casts. She is also the productive founder of Barnteaterhuset, that focuses on children's  anticipation in musical theatre, acting and improvisation.

Over the years she has found  those special musicians which  she can develop the dramatical music that tells a story. She is both a classical as well as musical theatre  singer, that also perform contemporary music. She will record and release her album "Moments" in 2024", an album with songs both in swedish and english, gathered from here 20  years as an artist.
